Music influences my painting more than anything else. Sometimes it simply keeps me company between brushstrokes; other times it is an essential condition for the painting to develop. So every time I pick up my brush, I put on the same music again, listen to the same songs, tied to the emotions I am feeling or would like to bring out through that painting. The notes reach the depths of the soul, blend with the color, and settle onto the canvas. So, to help you understand this side of me too, I thought I would create a new section: Painting Soundtrack . Here you will find, alongside the different paintings, the different soundtracks that inspired them, with snippets of phrases and excerpts from lyrics that capture the character of each painting best of all. Sometimes it is just one song, sometimes full-fledged playlists. Give it a try! It was a wonderful experiment for me too! Standing in front of the finished painting, listening again to and reading the emotions associated with it. I hope you like the idea... and above all that it tells you a little more about me.

Rising from the ashes means losing something of ourselves that we cherish more than life itself; it means abandoning our origins to be solely and exclusively ourselves.

"...It is a commonplace belief that we see with our eyes. Undoubtedly, eyes are indispensable for seeing; yet we notice that many people, sometimes the majority, who have excellent eyesight nonetheless see little, in the sense that they do not see what they are looking at. Misled by prejudices or commonplaces, or simply not taught to see, they fail to grasp the formal essence and the resulting meaning of what they see. But then we do not see with our eyes alone, or rather, eyes alone are not enough to see. One might say that the eye-brain pairing is fundamental to seeing, yet even this is not entirely true. There are people who have good eyesight and keen intelligence, yet they do not see forms, do not understand their origins, much less the world of meanings they convey. What allows us to see deeply into forms is – visual perception-. Perception is the awareness we gain of the external world through observation and knowledge of the objects and things that make up the environment and have stimulated our senses of sight, hearing and touch, as well as smell and taste. But above all, seeing the surrounding world and the objects that make it up means developing a critical awareness of the reasons behind the forms we see, asking why things are as they are, why certain things are made this way and not that way, why certain events happen in that way and not another, and assessing whether that way is indeed the right one, and, if it is not the right one, what the right one would be… …Looking is a natural gift we all possess. Animals look too, but they do not always see deeply unless helped by instinct. Seeing, on the other hand, involves education, training, a truly long apprenticeship akin to that undertaken by a piano student at a music conservatory, who practices solfège and musical scales at length…” Attilio Marcolli - "Field Theory"

A lie is more wicked Hidden inside a prayer It's just a man I'm talking about About a shower after a betrayal About the smile that returns after he has cried It's just a man I'm writing about The night before a long journey When he doesn't know whether leaving is just leaving or also running away May peace come from the distant sea May silence come from the waves They say it's true, yes, but even if it were true it would be no justification for not doing it anymore, for not doing it anymore, now.

Five hundred twenty-five thousand Six hundred minutes, Five hundred twenty-five thousand Moments so dear. Five hundred twenty-five thousand Six hundred minutes How do you measure, measure a year? In cups of coffee... Measure measure your life in love. There is no future There is no past Thank God this Moment's no the last There's only us There's only this Forget regret or Life is yours to miss No other road no other way No day but today We could light the candle What'd you do with my candle? Let's Just Make This Part Go Faster I Have Yet - To Be In It I Should Tell You I Should Tell Eden The dance of a perfect world When we finally manage to believe in our promises You were the perfect wave To break against me No! If you want, I will be No! More than a moment No! And then I will stay No! When you wake. When you want to give up but you won't When you learn to stop running away and to shine. I'm a lucky man to count on both hands the ones i love.. Nothing you would take everything you gave hold me till i die.. meet you on the other side Did i say that i need you? Oh, did i say that i want you? Oh, if i didn't now i'm a fool you see.. no one know this more than me as i come clean And I looked inside an emotion And I saw so much love inside it That I understood why You can't command the heart And that's all right Without words as long as it's easy as long as it's simple enough of getting screwed as long as it's A simple story A cloudless sky A useful love Always searching WHERE IS IT?? Whoa, where is it? All the way over there!! Where is it?...uh! where is it... This happiness!!... A prisoner in an endless jail, that's how I'd feel if you weren't in my heart, I'd hide, like so many, behind a flimsy excuse and let the sellers of pain win. And I have seen things reserved for dreamers, and I have drunk the bitter juice of contempt, and I have performed all my purest acts. Considering that love has no price... Considering that love has no price, I am willing to do anything to have a little,
